Nursing Pharmacology
We are currently developing five Nursing OER textbooks with CC 4.0 licensing. The first Nursing Pharmacology book will be published in Pressbooks in June 2020. The remaining four OER Nursing books will be published by 2023. The textbooks are based on the Wisconsin Technical College System’s statewide nursing curriculum, and are aligned with the 2019 NCLEX Test Plan as an external standard. We currently have nursing faculty from across the state of Wisconsin working on the project, as well as reviewers lined up from across the country to begin reviewing the Pharmacology book in February 2020.

Kimberly Ernstmeyer
Kim has been a Nurse Educator at Chippewa Valley Technical College since 2005 with a focus on simulation and interprofessional education. She is currently the Grant Project Director for the Open RN project, and previously was the Nursing Program Director and the Curriculum Project Manager of the ARISE project. The ARISE project created 150 open source augmented reality simulations and serious games for health care students that can be found in Skills Commons. The ARISE project won the second place award in the Serious Games and Virtual Arcades competition at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) in January 2018. She has presented at several conferences, including IMSH, the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, and the National League for Nursing, and co-authored the “Impact of Interprofessional Education on Nursing Students’ Attitudes Toward Teamwork and Collaboration with Physicians” in the Journal of Nursing Education.

Rory McGreal
Rory McGreal is a Professor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Athabasca University (AU), Alberta Canada. He is also the UNESCO/International Council for Open and Distance Education Chair in Open Educational Resources and Director of the Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute (TEKRI). In addition, he is the co-Editor of Canada's first open access journal, The International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning (IRRODL). He was the Associate Vice President, Research at AU for ten years. Previously, he was the executive director of TeleEducation New Brunswick , a province-wide bilingual (French/English) distributed distance learning network. Before that, he was responsible for the expansion of Contact North (a distance education network in Northern Ontario ) into the high schools of the region. His Ph.D. degree (1999) in Computer Technology in Education at Nova Southeastern University 's School for Computer and Information Science was taken at a distance using the Internet.
